American Madrasas
and
The Glee of Doing Evil

Ever since the World Trade Center outrage, Americans at large have been learning more about Middle Eastern and Islamic culture than they ever needed or wanted to know before.  Words like Allah, Taliban, Burkas; concepts like suicide martyrdom, Islamic Fundamentalism, and shifting alliances; even the regional geography and topography, have all become commonplace in our social awareness.  From the daily news we hear the names of cities like Tora Bora, Kabul, Baghdad, Khandahar, and we know right where they are.  When we hear names like Usama, Hussein, Omar, Arrafat, Abdullah, we know exactly who they are and whether they're friends or enemies.

One of the more disturbing things we've learned about is: the very real network of hundreds, maybe even thousands of "Madrasas," or "Koran Schools."  These are brainwashing centers in which mostly Arab boys are trained in the ways of hate and terror.  Rather than providing them with marketable skills, the various Imams, Ayatollahs, and Mullahs teach young students the ins and outs of hating America, hating science and industry and International Capitalism.  Inevitably, these young people come to see their own lives as bleak and expendable in the greater cause, better spent retrieving the lost Golden Age of classical Arabia by killing Infidels rather than meekly accepting a future where Islam has withered away into history, replaced by global, Western-style secular technological prosperity.

Thousands of angry, hateful, indoctrinated students swarming like locusts, looking for any opportunity to destroy their enemies.  Now that's really spooky.

Their mission of horror seems alien, almost insectoid, to most normal Americans, and in our hearts we're each of us certain that none of our children could possibly hate us so much.  But, of course, we're wrong.  Our own children attend Madrasas right here in America.

Led by angry Ayatollahs like Noam Chomsky, Cornell West, Michael Moore, Coleman McCarthy, Lani Guiniere, most egregiously by Ralph Nader, and a thousand more lesser known but equally influential Left Wing Mullahs, American college students learn to hate America, her core values, and her way of life.  Day after day, semester by semester, they're shown the evils of this land: Historic crimes against minorities and women; Slavery both racial and marital; systemic malevolence that spans the ages from the 1600's to the 21st Century; Corporate Greed that knows no bounds or conscience; the deliberate, planned destruction of the Natural Environment; the sadistic humiliation of homosexuals; the immorality of inequality.  Recent history, as re-written by the likes of Doris Kearns Goodwin and Maya Angelou, is the story of our tragic fall from the Golden Age of Franklin Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, and Lyndon Johnson, followed by a clarion call to build a new, global Left Wing Utopia.

This is political indoctrination and mind control of the color and stripe that we condemn in the Middle East.  Our students swarm out of the halls of Academia to attack their opponents, stealing any opposing point of view right off the newsstands then burning it in Islamic-like frenzies of hate.  Like evil lemmings, they rush into various auditoriums and cheer wildly as if they were at the Roman Games when Ralph Nader or Michael Moore insult America, or insult Corporations, or insult white men.  They each wallow in the cultural self-loathing so necessary to become one of Nader's Traitors, one of Nader's Haters, to live and work in the dream of a new world where all the old Leftist Sociologist values reign supreme once again.

Under the rubric of: "No Permanent Friends, No Permanent Enemies, Just Permanent Issues," they shift their traditional alliances to betray every educational and social contract in their lives.  Instead of respecting all their instructors, they hound and threaten the teachers they perceive as "politically incorrect," yet with the next breath they demand "diversity" on campus.  They insist that the World's people must live in "peace," then they take to the streets, rioting and looting, burning buildings, throwing bricks and bottles, in protest of peaceful banks and trade organizations.

And why the hypocrisy?  Because it's fun to jerk the infidels around.

There's a certain glee to being evil and doing evil, a glee that's both fueled and compounded by self-righteous arrogance.  In the 60's, Hippies used the slogan, "Stick it to The Man!" to justify shoplifting, vandalism, squatting, drug use, and most importantly, to outrage their betters.  Nothing's any different today.  Except, "The Man" has been replaced by "The White Male Military-Industrial Corporate Complex."

The anti-American animus in the heart of today's Left Wing student is identical to the anti-American animus in the heart of today's Islamic terrorist.  Any real difference is only geographical.  They're both driven by an outrageous, impractical idealism; they're both willing to raise holy violent hell to make their points; and they've both been trained in the ways of hate by people who teach and preach hate for a living.  Left Wing college teachers are no different from the Madrasa teachers in the Middle East.  They insist that America is responsible for every evil on the planet, that America's downfall would be a good thing, and they set their students loose in the World to wreak havoc in pursuit of the total destruction of their enemies.

But inevitably, these American student/terrorists will need employment.  And to whom will they go, haughtily demanding jobs?  Corporations, of course.

Corporations must learn to weed out their enemies from the usual flow of job applicants.  It isn't enough to look at grade-point averages, these Leftists are the equivalent of hostile infiltrators.  And in the same way that the Hippies of the 60's became today's college teachers to "fight the System from within," Leftist students will try and pull down Corporate America from inside.  Every personnel manager must first look into the college politics of each applicant, then reject those who have protested against the Corporate community or written vile papers and essays against Corporations.  The colleges must make the papers and opinions, group affiliations and intimidating political behavior of each student available on demand to each potential employer.  No more hiding their hateful words and actions (like Wellesley and Yale did for Hillary Clinton) under a veil of 'privacy' designed to shield the applicant from the consequences of his or her own seditious behavior.

As with the Islamic terrorists, the only real way to defeat them (short of killing them) is to deprive them of the future funds they need to do their dirty work.  These traitors in our midst must be consigned to the "prison without walls" of unemployment.  An impoverished terrorist or protestor is no threat to anyone.  An unemployed Left Wing teacher has no students.  An anarchist without a job is just another bum on the street.

If the American corporate business community wants to survive, it must never employ the graduates of today's American Madrasas.

Never.
