For sheer evil and malicious intent, the malignant forces that brought about Trent Lott's recent resignation as Senate Majority Leader easily surpass any and all of Lott's own so called sins.
No matter what we inevitably think of Lott's confusing remarks at Strom Thurmond's 100th birthday party, their ultimate effect was to unleash the full fury of the Liberal Hate Machine, which had been both muzzled and humbled (except for the traitorous America hating diehards who never give up) by the events of September 11, 2001 and, more importantly, by the recent punishing loss of the thing Democrats value most of all: their long-held political power. It seemed like the awful hellbeast of hate that had served them so well in the past had actually dug a grave for them to fall in, and sure as anything, in they fell. So they had to restrain their traditional fury for the sake of seeming to be "nice people," and not the angry, shoe pounding socialists they've been all along.
But in the end, they couldn't resist declaring a race war against Trent Lott. Why?
In the course of the last 40 years, a certain modern political paradigm of radical racial issues has crystallized out of the once noble civil rights community of the past. Aided and abetted by a lively society of practiced complainers and professional victimologists who see all the ancient wrongs as with us right now, today's civil rights activists have accumulated all the past injustices into one present day super-complaint which includes a near psychotic hatred of "White Supremacy," White Southern Politicians and White Christians. The evil symbols of the past, like John Lynch, Jesse Helms, Jerry Falwell, Strom Thurmond, Jim Crow, Pat Robertson, Dredd Scott, George Wallace, David Duke, Timothy McVeigh, etc, are summoned every day to explain the plight of today's blacks and other minorities.
And any Republican who might speak kindly of them is instantly condemned as a social monster and a racial bigot as well.
That's what happened to Trent Lott. Because he had the audacity to praise the devil Thurmond, all the hate and downright hell-horror that applied to Thurmond was re-applied to Lott, with no diminution of the original vicious intensity.
How DARE he praise the arch-demon Strom? How dare he honor those people we hate? He's as bad, just as terrible as they are!
That's known as "Guilt by Association."
In other words, pure McCarthyism.
It's true. You take a very real enemy from the past and then you pretend that today's enemies are allied with him.
("Do you now have, or have you ever had any sympathetic feelings for the Communist Party or any one of it's members?)
(Do you now have, or have you ever had any sympathetic feelings for White Supremacy or any one of its proponents, like ..... Strom Thurmond [damn him!] or Jesse Helms?)
There are degrees of hate. Some hate is bad, other hate is good. If you have bad hate, you're evil. If you have Good Hate, you're a hero. If you dislike the Liberal agenda, you're bad. If you dislike the Conservative agenda, you're good.
Good Hate dominates the current Civil Rights Community. They're defined by who and what they properly hate. Hate in the pursuit "Justice" is not hate. Intolerance in the pursuit of "Tolerance" is not intolerance.
And it's this tolerance of black racial intolerance that paves the way for today's Supreme Left-Wing Bigot: Julian Bond.
Julian Bond claims that "white men have a 'canine devotion' to the principles of the Confederacy." In other words, white men are dogs. For him, people who disagree with him are animals. (Of course, if I accused him and all the other blacks of having a "tribal" or "simian devotion" to the principles of Victimology and Reparations, I'd be the bigot, wouldn't I?) Bond gets a pass from the professional victim community and "the Press," as does the arrogant, condescending (yet patently ignorant) anti-Semitic and racial moralizing of Jesse Jackson (the most hated man in American politics [according to a USA Today-CNN poll], the undisputed king of the greedy, criminal shake-down artists and hypocrites). Remember his Hymie-Town remarks? Remember the way he looted his so-called tax-exempt foundations to pay off his mistress while simultaneously counseling Slick Willie Rapist through the purjurious Monica blowjob mess?
When Jackson apologizes, the Liberal world says "Okay," or "He's done a lot of good in the world, give him a break." And then they all look the other way. But when Trent Lott apologizes, the Liberal world says "It's not enough, it will never be enough. He's always been a racist, and he'll always be a racist. Just look at his record!!" Then they dredge up every quote and every vote that they don't like, using them as proof of the equity between Lott and the ancient white devil Thurmond.
The professional victim activists practice a remarkably obvious form of "Selective Outrage," or as it's more commonly known, "Good Hate." In the same way that Palestinians practice Anti-Semitism, so does our Democratic community practice even more hate than the hate they condemn in others.
And even worse, it's the black community itself that has the most hate of all. The single most accurate truism in America's current political environment is this: Blacks hate Whites far and away more than Whites can possibly know or imagine. The depth of black racial hatred knows no bounds. By mutual acclimation they hold all the injustices of the past in today's heart: "They" were brought here kicking and screaming in chains; "They" were drowned by the millions, thrown overboard to feed the sharks who still swarm along the slave routes; "They've" been enslaved, lynched, beaten, deprived of every opportunity to read, write, or to better themselves in any way.
Among Liberals there is a commonly held notion that History tends toward Liberalism. Within this vision, any view of society that isn't openly and deliberately Progressive "turns back the clock on the social advances of the last 50 years." By this virtue, the crimes of the past can be invoked to heap political stain on the present. "Trent Lott wants to take us back to the days of segregated drinking fountains and separate toilets. He sees blacks as second class citizens!"
Today's Liberal special interest groups have woven any number of horrific, timeless grievances into a single cord of injustice which then binds them all into a unified, eternally wounded folk whose constant complaints can fly in a thousand different directions from one hate-filled hub. With one angry voice, they lash out against Racism, Sexism, Homophobia, Poverty, Capitalism, White Supremacy, Bigotry, Intolerance, Starvation, Homelessness, White Protestant Christians, Wall Street, International Banks and Multinational Corporations, Tobacco Companies, Gun Ownership, Police Brutality, Corporate Welfare, Arms Manufacturers, War, Cruelty, Greed, Global Injustice, Indifference, Economic Royalty, Right Wing Talk Radio, Wall Street, Fat Cats, Oil Companies, Meat, Pollution, Fox News, the Supreme Court, the KKK, the 2000 Florida Elections, Viet Nam, Trickledown Economics, Inherited Privilege, White Collar Crime, Tax Breaks for the Wealthy, Hate Crimes, Social Injustice, Cultural Inequity, AIDS, Ignorance, Racial and Ethnic Stereotypes, ..... etc.
All their traditional, historic evils are brought together in one place at one time, just to vex their enemies.
It's only a short step from coordinating such grandiose grievances to the blurring and smearing of the lines between (and among) individual politicians, branding them with each other's evil, as if they all existed right here and now, as a current, combined, conspiratorial threat to Liberalism.
By this process of mutual demonizing, great historical atrocities and guilt can be applied willy-nilly to any of today's Republicans, indeed to anyone that the Democrats want to destroy, for whatever self-righteous reason that might pop into their little minds.
In this McCarthy-like manner, they claim that George W. Bush wants to drag black men behind a truck, that Dick Armey wants to crucify homosexuals, and that the now defenseless Ronald Reagan was a White Supremacist.
It's as if they have two rotating dartboards, one filled with Republicans, the other filled with social injustices. Just spin them both and throw the darts. The truth of any given matter makes no difference at all. It's the staining that counts, and they've had unchallenged decades to refine it into a science.
So, when Trent Lott had the audacity to praise Strom Thurmond on his 100th birthday, it was like walking by in front of horrible, angry firing squad and getting his foot stuck. Whatever he really meant (he claimed to be talking about economic and foreign policies, not race) is completely irrelevant. He said good things about a Prince of Evil, and he had to pay the price. No matter how vicious the Leftists might seem in the court of public opinion, they had to assume his remarks were "racial" because the noble vanity of their cause states plainly that their own eternally wounded sensitivities must be accommodated day after day, year after year. The ancient devils are eternal, and must be summoned from time to time, then sternly rebuked every time they appear. And anyone associated with them is equally damned.
Simply put, Trent Lott summoned the devil himself (like John the Baptist summoning Jesus) and thereby must be condemned along with the Devil himself.
As canine agents of the Confederacy, Trent Lott, George Wallace, David Duke, Strom Thurmond, Rush Limbaugh, President Bush, Adolph Hitler, Jesse Helms, Newt Gingrich, Richard Nixon, Jim Crow, Simon Legree, John Lynch, Jeb Bush, the Ku Klux Klan, Ronald Reagan, Bob Jones University, they all get thrown into the same blender with slavery, segregation, hangings, separate restrooms and drinking fountains, church burnings, cross burnings, segregated schools, bombings, dog attacks, fire hosings, police beatings, the shooting murders of patently innocent pedestrians, the rape of immigrants, racial profiling, driving while black, the legacy of slavery, financial reparations, affirmative action, racial quotas and preferences, the 6000 year African Holocaust, the Crossing, the sharks who still swim along the slave-ship routes, "The Plan," the CIA's Colored Community Crack Cocaine Contamination Connection, the Jail-Industrial-Complex, the Inequality of Quality, the Back of the Bus, forty acres and a mule, White Privilege, Legacy College Admissions, Dead White Men ......
Today's Civil Rights Community is an all-purpose grievance committee with a panoply of villains and transgressions at its immediate disposal; with universally applicable sins waiting in the ready for any new assault on their historic dignity. With impunity and arrogant confidence, they roundly and viciously condemn whomever they choose.
And it works. Really well. Every person they choose to attack is guilty in some portion of the overall guilt package, because (according to their fictional world view) everyone is guilty of something insofar as all human history (up until our Liberal Activist Government came along) was bad and evil, racist in a million different ways.
Galvanized by its success, they'll call up this Bloody Shirt McCarthyism more and more often, and it'll work more often because of four obvious reasons: 1) We keep letting this professional complaint class define what's inappropriate, what's good and bad, so they retain control of the issues; 2) Racial Injustice is the only ironclad, reliably Democratic issue left for them any more (having lost Congress, "the Economy," having betrayed their pinko anti-war sentiments by supporting Bush against terrorism, and the loss of the campus PC battles); 3) Because the core Rage so necessary to keep their anti-Republican Hate alive is the sole emotion (other than lust) present in the psyche of every single Democrat and Leftist in America.
And 4) They've been the party of Hate for so long that Hate is their primary talent, it's all they're really equipped to do any more.
And in these matters of Race, Good Hate wins. Even though Hate is Hate is Hate is Hate, Racial Hatred is still the province of the Black American community. In fact, Racial Injustice is the single best thing that's ever happened to them. Without Slavery and all the social problems that followed from it, Black America would have fallen apart long ago, diffused and assimilated into the economy instead of flowering into the happily hostile, seditious Socialist "Africans" they've become today.
Congratulations my evil friends, you've won. You can use any crime of the past to smear and stain any Republican of today.
It's a small victory though, because (just like the Racists of the past) the more hate you display and spread around, the more people see your hate for what it is: mean spirited Racial McCarthyism.
After all, ..... in the end ..... your promiscuous and manipulative charges of Racism are, in and of themselves, your own horrible Racism.
